As a Future Production Management Graduate, you will fast-track your career towards a leading role at one of our production sites to help shape our business moving forward.

Our production site provides hands-on learning opportunities, with unique experiences characterized by engaging in strategic projects that hold real significance. Additionally, you will work as a team lead for a year to help you develop essential leadership skills. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll delve into the fast-paced realm of consumer goods., It's a well-rounded opportunity for personal and professional growth that sets you on a dynamic career path.

Why choose Arla’s Production Management programme?

3 rotations at 2 sites

The programme will take you to two different European production sites where you will spend 18 months at your primary location (Denmark, Sweden, UK, Germany, Finland or Netherlands) and 6 months abroad.

We will ensure that you get the right challenges at the right time to unfold your potential and grow.

Team leader experience

In your third and last rotation you will be assigned as team leader for a group of employees. Here you are going to use your leadership competencies, and you will impact both business and people.

You will learn and develop yourself as a leader with a constant aspiration to take on a leadership position in the future.

Personal development

We have designed a two-year programme with a focus on how you can fuel your growth and development.

Once selected as a PM graduate, you will be given responsibility from day one and the opportunity to make your effort count. You will solve assignments and business critical tasks for one or more members of the management team at the production site. We offer you the best possible framework for this journey and regular feedback on your performance will keep you on track.

With the PM graduate programme, you provide the talent, effort and determination and we provide the “launch pad” and learning opportunities for you to develop and become a future leader in Arla.

Work on a shared strategic important project together with the other PM graduates at your individual sites.

Working in one of our core countries (UK, SE, GE, NL, FI or DK)

12 months – Team leader in home country

Work as a team leader, taking care of a team of approx. 10-15 people, making sure all operation is running and your team is happy

Working at the same site as you did in the first rotation in your home country

Your development

We will accelerate your career on the job through competence development and project challenges. From day one, you will experience a steep learning curve and just the right amount of challenge on your professional and leadership potential.

Your host manager will set realistic but challenging objectives and will guide you with continuous feedback to fuel your development by evaluating your performance and behaviour in the current position.

Establish a fundamental understanding of the Arla culture and the core of who we are.

The camp will focus on getting to understand the Arla value chain from farm, to dairy to innovation, marketing, sales and everything in between.

You will build and solve a business case to gain a deep understanding of Arla's business and operations.


The second development camp will take place in one of our core markets outside of Denmark.

Focus on building essential skills and competencies relevant for your area of interest.

 

You will get an understanding of Rest of World markets and focus on building essential people management skills, preparing you for leadership positions. The second development camp will take place in one of our international markets.

We will focus the importance of clear communication, showing decisiveness and also on a constant development of yourself and others.

Mentor

Throughout the graduate programme a personal mentor from the Supply Chain management will support you throughout your graduate journey. The mentor will help you build strong networks with colleagues and decision makers. They will provide professional personal sparring where needed.
