Although turnover increased by almost 11 per cent to DKK 797 million, Rynkeby Foods A/S posted a DKK 44 million fall in operating profit compared to the previous year, i.e. a loss of DKK 13 million. However, the disposal of the Kildevands business means that the result for the year will remain positive at DKK 8.2 million. Higher prices for apples and oranges and the rising dollar have adversely affected the result. The transfer of production from the former Kløver plant in Esbjerg to Rynkeby’s factories in Ringe and Rynkeby also impacted on the company’s result.
