Arla Foods’ non-organic “minimilk” has been given an enthusiastic reception by Danish consumers. Only four weeks after its launch, minimilk accounts for 10% of all non-organic milk sales.
“This is an extremely satisfying development,” said Product Manager Karsten Jeppesen, Denmark Division. “The latest sales figures show that the new minimilk ranks sixth among the most popular types of milk and we expect to see further growth.”
Since the launch of the new minimilk variety in mid-September sales of organic minimilk have declined by 10%. Total sales of minimilk have, however, risen substantially – by 50%.
Non-organic "minimilk" ranks sixth among the most popular types of milk on the Danish market.
