The 120-year-old Glejbjerg Dairy closes next week in keeping with Arla Foods’ structural plan of 2001.
The dairy’s cheese production will be transferred to Hjørring Dairy.
At its peak, the dairy produced around 20 tons cheese per day. However, this was gradually scaled down in the run-up to the closure.
12 of Glejbjerg’s 36 employees have yet to find other employment.
