So far, eight of its employees have been taken on at other Arla Foods’ dairies in Sweden while 26 others have yet to find new work.
The dairy’s production of yellow cheese has been transferred to Falkenberg and Götene dairies.

The closure of Stånga dairy is part of Arla Foods’ structural plan from 2001.
